Traditionally a part of Mexican culture, today piñatas are used as a popular, fun activity all over the world. After filling them with candy or little treats, they are strung from a rope and partygoers (who are usually blindfolded) swing at the piñata with a stick. When the piñata breaks, the contents are scattered on the ground and everyone is trying to collect as many treats as possible! Piñatas are great fun for plenty of occasions, for example birthdays, themed parties or Christmas.
