Chalky Finish is a water-based chalk paint and gives your objects an ultra-matt and velvety surface that envelops your home in a homely atmosphere and thus leaves a lot of space for cocooning. … and how is it done? You can apply Chalky to surfaces such as wood, metal, ceramic, paper mache, plastic, home textiles or on a wall. The paint is easy to spread and has a very high coverage thanks to the enormous amount of chalk. For sealing you use cream wax indoors and a clear lacquer outdoors – neither of them change the unique chalky look.
If one coat of paint is not enough for you, there are no limits to your creativity: whether with stencils, sanding techniques, a crackling medium for surfaces with a tear look or with a two-color technique (wet or dry) – here you can develop freely.
